Rugby league,.one of the few sports were the competition structure is only known a month before kick-off. This is bread and butter stuff for sporting bodies everywhere, the structure (and clubs within) should be set in stone for years if not decades at a time.
In lieu of no news, could it not be presumed that the exisiting competitions remain in place as is?

The only change I can forsee is the addition of the U20's.

The Lebanon world cup squad has been finalised and includes 5 from Auburn - Jamie Clark, Ahmed Ellaz, Mitch Mamary, Ray Moujalli and Elias Sukkar and 2 from Wenty - Nick Kassis and Danny Barakat.

It is hard to understand how the officials of the nations in the World Cup cannot identify which clubs their players actually play with. Lebanon is the worst offender;

Mitch Mamary is listed as Wenty, who he played with in 2016 but spent all of 2017 with Auburn Warriors.

Elias Sukkar is listed as Wenty, whereas he started the season with CBG Wolves but returned to Auburn Warriors mid season. He played for Wenty about 4 years ago.

Chris Saab is listed as Blacktown Workers even though he has been with Guildford since 2012 and has never played for Blacktown.

Further, in the original 40 man train squad, Ben Chahoud was listed as Hills even though he has played for Mounties for 3 seasons and mark Daoud was listed as Asquith even though he spent 2017 with wenty.

Similarly, Steven Howard is listed in the USA squad as Mounties but he has never played for the club.

The NSWRL issued a press release quoting all of the above even though they operate a system that identifies which clubs players are with in all their competitions.

I think the original list was done by RLWC's Brad Walter and they've likely copied it into their release without checking the accuracy of the lists.

Where are brothers getting their money from to pay the players? They aren't attached to a leagues club

They have a number of sponsors including Henry Lawson Sports Club, Penrith Suburu, Yellow Brick Road Wealth Management, Cleanaway, Kennards Hire, Storage King etc.

Asquith to return to the RMC with Pat Weisner taking over the reigns.
West Magpies to join the NSW Cup,remain in RMC and dropping out of Sydney Shield competition.
Brothers to return to the RMC competition.
Rumours St Clair Comets considering entering Sydney Shield.
East Campbelltown now the feeder to West Magpies RMC.

Ok. I hope their sponsors have deep pockets. They'll have to pay overs to get blokes as they won't be a feeder for any nsw cup team.

Is this with 100% truth or just speculation? It'd be awesome to see the Magpies back in the NSW Cup.

Ok so just the magpies in the NSW cup.
What about Newtown ?
Cabramatta will not be their feeder in 2018, they are planning on entering the NSW cup in 2019.
I am also hearing that Cronulla want to set up their own NSW cup team for 2018?

Cronulla were talking to Cabramatta about a JV for 2018, which the 2 clubs had proposed for 2010 but Parramatta refused to approve of that deal on that occasion.

Newtown have been talking to the Storm, who currently send their players to the Qld Cup and they were still talking to Cronulla.
Ok thks for the info'
I can't understand why parramatta would need to approve a joint venture between Cabramatta and Cronulla , Parra use Wenty . Surely its up to the NSWRL to approve?
