If Cronk joins the Roosters, the 2018 competition is over before it starts

Maybe so. But we had a kind draw off the back of finishing 15th the year before.

We have offloaded lots od depth players for a few big names. We will be fine if we have no injuries but if we do, we will slide

Based off this year's results, we have an extremely soft draw in 2018.

No excuses

The important fact about Cooper Cronk is that he adds an organising element to the multi-pronged, ball-running attack player options -- namely James Tedesco, Latrell Mitchell, Luke Keary,.and Boyd Cordner.

In 2019 Boyd Cordner and Angus Crichton will constitute the greatest second row pairing in the NRL.
I think that all decent rugby league fans will wish Boyd Cordner a speedy and successful recovery from surgery, so that this pairing can become a reality next year.

Cordner will not be at the Roosters in 2019

This coming from the guy who claims that a French nobody who plays backup to Sam Tomkins is going to take up the number one fullback spot when Billy Slater retires

This "French nobody" is likely to be the full back for Wigan in 2018. Far from being back up to Sam Tomkins, he will force Sam Tomkins to play in the halves or else Tomkins will not play at all.

So, better than Sam Tomkins? He's a certainty then...

That is no certainty to happen tho is it. At the moment Sam Tomkins is the no. 1 fullback at Wigan, therefore Escare is the backup to Sam Tomkins. Escare will only be fullback if Tomkins moves to the halves.

Remind me, what happened when he got challenged for his spot at the Dragons? Oh that’s right, he lost it.
