Very interesting about Crichton, I still think he's gone but fingers crossed!!

If I was him, no way would I have made a decision so early. We all know it was gonna be different under Seibs so he should have waited to see what it was like before he decided. I really hope he does stay and gee, what a great sign that'd be for the club.

Dane Gagai apparently suffered a compound fracture to his finger and is in doubt for Origin.

If it's actually a compound fracture, that'll mean a few weeks on the sideline, even if it doesn't need surgery

Well... You don't want to see him injured, but if you're going to cop something like that, now is probably the best time from a Souths point of view.

We wouldn't have been expecting him to play this weekend, we play Parra the following weekend where he won't be missed before we have a weekend off for the designated origin round so really, he has a month to recover where he won't really be missed.

We'll also have Johnston and Kennar returning in that time, plus Fuimaono is back.

Not short on centre options

Gagai is expected to play i read on NRL.com.

As said, it's an injury we can cover.
On the Australian web site. They quote Kevin Walters as saying it looked like a compound dislocation, they don’t think there’s a break. He left the field, their Dr who is also a hand specialist strapped it up and he finished training. They are having scans and x-rays tonight.

Obviously not good news about Gags and I really hope he's good to go for Queensland tomorrow night.

Like others have said though, if he is out for a while, it's an injury we can certainly cover.

Disappointed to read Clarky is moving on next year. The man is a club legend: played around 170 matches by seasons end, premiership winner, marched with his dad when we were kicked out, local junior. Its a real shame he won’t get to 200 games for the club. Hopefully it was Jason’s decision and not the club’s. At only 29 and playing decent footy, he would still be worth keeping around for mine.

handyman,I can breath, smell and taste better than I have for a long time.
Haven't had a smoke since ANZAC day and haven't felt like one, amazing how something so traumatic can turn into a positive in so many ways.
The cream on top will be number 22 this year mate....cheers itsa!
Yep, it happened to my aunt after lung cancer surgery, gave up the smokes and never looked back.

Glad to hear you're doing so well itsa, keep up the good work my man!
