The abuse Jakey and Brad are copping is next level on those platforms. The clubs social media will have to block a shitload tonight.

Stop taking games to Darwin!!

It's fine to take games to the tropics. Just don't play the only team in the comp from the tropics there.

We have a 100% record in Darwin against other teams who are not from the tropics.

There weren't many good Eels tonight...but some were particularly poor. And I mean particularly poor. I won't say who but if J.Arthur...no, that's too obvious. If Jake A is anywhere near 1st grade again then the coach needs a bollocking....he already does to be fair....

We had our asses wiped and never looked like scoring. Whats worse is we where not able to change our game plan.
In most sports sides that are losing go for an adjustment mid game. They have 3 or 4 styles to try.

We have one and of it does not work it is game over

Tonight has shown this team is not capable of going anywhere in this comp...absolutely diabolical. To think people want to blame the conditions...ffs Cowboys have thrived here.

Couldn’t agree more. This club has been a laughing stock for 30 plus years. Injuries are no excuse. Conditions are no excuse (pretty sure we thrashed Brisbane in Darwin about the same time of year last season).

I thought this might be the year we give the comp a shake. Every year, for as long as I can remember, we cop at least one humiliating, embarrassing hiding. Every. Single. Year. Without fail.

I have previously been on the fence about BA. But I’m done with him now. And all our coaching staff in fact. They’re all stealing a pay check at this point.

We are one dimensional. We lack creativity. The coach is hopeless when it comes to this.

If we make the finals and I say if cause I am not convinced. I picked us to come 10th. But if we do I reckon we have the power game and enough old heaps to fire up and really shake the better sides. Problem is getting g up for 24 games and finishing in a good position. That can be the issue with a side that's failed a few times in recent years. Side gets old and bored. They can get up for some but not all.

It took 20 odd games for fergo to score a couple of years ago. Bailey ain't havinmuch luck either.

No it won’t. You have absolutely no feel for the game. You never actually played team sports did you.

It's been working for us all year. What hurt us was players in our team thinking we had to 'take our chances' early on. Panic footy doesn't work for us. We don't have the speed for it.

I turned the game off with 6 minutes to go then just checked the score. FMD lads, what's wrong with this club. I can't keep blaming the team, we've had teams with completely different players and still the same rubbish. The club has an issue that runs deep.

And the merkins have turned off comments on Instagram. They don’t want to hear from the members that the game was a disgrace, the coach is delusional and they should never have taken the game to Darwin against the f**king Townsville team!!

And what you've highlighted is not a lack of execution, but a lack of speed. We need someone like the Hammer, or a Papenhuyzen to turn half chances in to tries ..
