Imo, he has been for some time.

While he isn't explosively quick, he is the most skilful fullback in the comp, the best defensive fullback in the comp, and leads by example every week.

I rate Edwards, but he lacks in several areas compared to Gutho - general skill, goal-kicking, leadership...

You'd have to be drunk to trade Gutho for any other fullback.

I thought his game dropped off a few years back but he is back to full go except maybe for a yard of pace he has lot. He is a great player.
Guth and Moses are probably our best combo of two great players since 1986.

Gutho greatest unsung moment has to be time he ran down Reece Walsh after giving him at least a 5m headstart from memory before he even got to halfway in Magic Round a few years back.
