8:30pm for Raiders vs Broncos in round 2? I assume this is so the match can be screened live in Queensland?

Interesting that Dragons are on channel 9 only once... weren't they playing pretty much 80% of Friday night matches this year lol?

And Roosters have a few daytime matches at the hot part of the season like this year though with a handful of channel 9 matches we can't complain. Looking forward to a Friday night start again vs Souffs.

For someone ever so scouting such as yourself Timmah, you could have taken the time to format it better, it's really not good enough.

Can't remember the last time the Dragons weren't on a Friday night at least once for the first 5 rounds, Tbh it's a nice change

Souths have 4 friday night games in the first 5 rounds, including the very first game of the year. Bloody brilliant. You'd think I made that schedule. Now we better get off to a good start in those 5 weeks to get more games on free tv.

The gaps between games for each team are interesting... some seem rather poorly planned, others have the benefit of consistency.

Broncos - 7 days, 7 days, 7 days, 10 days
Bulldogs - 6 days*, 7 days, 8 days, 6 days*
Cowboys - 8 days, 7 days, 7 days, 6 days
Dragons - 9 days, 6 days*, 7 days, 7 days
Eels - 6 days, 7 days, 8 days, 8 days
Knights - 6 days, 8 days, 7 days, 8 days
Panthers - 5 days, 8 days, 6 days, 8 days
Rabbitohs - 9 days, 5 days, 7 days, 7 days
Raiders - 5 days, 10 days, 5 days*, 7 days
Roosters - 9 days, 7 days, 7 days, 6 days
Sea Eagles - 8 days, 7 days, 5 days, 8 days
Sharks - 8 days, 5 days*, 7 days, 7 days
Storm - 7 days, 7 days, 9 days, 6 days*
Tigers - 5 days*, 9 days, 6 days*, 5 days
Titans - 7 days, 6 days, 8 days, 6 days
Warriors - 7 days, 8 days, 7 days, 6 days

* = coming off MNF

Surprise surprise, the Broncos have the most consistent rest period while the Raiders have the least. The gaps of 5 days, 10 days, 5 days is going to be tough to overcome for the Raiders, while the consistent 7 day gap for the Broncos should make life that much easier for them.

Most teams coming off MNF have avoided the dreaded 5 day break, only the Tigers, Sharks and Raiders have this.

And yes, I really do have too much time on my hands.

Nine pick two (FNF1 and Sun3p), FOX pick two (MNF and Sun2p), then Nine pick FNF2, FOX get the rest for Saturday night I believe.

At least that's how Triple M says it goes on Twitter.
