    Team list vs Dragons

I tend to think Smith is "backup" for Salmon and, in need, he can cover hooker if required as well. Not many people seem to like Smith but there is no doubt he is a handy back up because of the number of positions he can cover -- fullback, wing, half back and hooker.. Smart move BA.

    Rumours and Stuff

With their NRL side running 5th and the reserve grade side being minor premiers (already) and the U20's doing so very well I can't see Penrith club as being a "joke" (and I'm a Parramatta supporter of some 50 years!)

Parramatta Leagues Club board sacked, administrator appointed

Very positive and encouraging statements from Max and Bernie today. These guys have proven their value as businessmen and sports administrators. No more Fitzys,, Spags, or former front-row forwards trying a band-aid fix.to cater for their own egos. Looking at the broader picture, the road ahead...

    Referres for first finals game

Ben Cummings and Gerald Sutton -- are the "best" two referees for this game? Or will the Melbourne home town team influence their decision making ? These two guys are good referees BUT their decisions always seem to favour the home team (even when Parra is playing at 'home') ....check out the...

Knock-on Effect NSW Cup - Eels Team

He had a great kicking game; he never stopped talking to and organising his forwards; was a great link between his forwards and his backline; nothing spectacular but indeed a very important link as a TEAM player; and by the way, he can kick goals as well; and indeed very strong in defence. So I...

Parramatta Leagues Club board sacked, administrator appointed

Fitzgerald, Spagnolo & Co and certain ex-players who have appeared on the Board are a major cause of our current problems. In the real (corporate) world anybody with experience in appointing Receivers and/or Administrators will readily confirm a long proven fact that: THOSE WHO WERE INVOLVED...

    What else can go wrong?

Shit! and we are still coming around about third in the comp (after all that negative stuff). Any chance of Brad Arthur being "Coach of the Year"? No way because it seems that the award must go to "Super Coach" Bennett or some other coach with a host of SOO players in their team -- who have not...

    Training report

Thanks mate. It's great to see that somebody is actually talking about football for a (very refreshing) change. Very informative, well done!

    Third Party Agreements .....

This is a classic example of the 80's and 90's (and thereafter) in that it is classic case of the "GOLDEN RULE" -- He who owns the Gold (NRL) makes the Rules. However, it is not the Clubs who have been caught with their pants down but the NRL itself but of course the NRL wants to shift blame to...

    Salary Cap

Jake - how an you say we are in need of a new Board when the NRL haven't even made a statement about all the crap that has appeared in the press - crap that has been fuelled by Raaay and his (big ego driven) mate. Jake, with all due respect let's live in the real world for a while and respond...

    Salary Cap

Well said. And while the NRL are checking the full records in proper context maybe the media might wish to grab a few more headlines by in depth interviews with Fitzgerald and Spags -- provided they swear on the bible to tell the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

    Salary Cap

Anybody know if Nick Tabakoff is a close relative of Dennis Fitgerald or Ray Hadley?
