    OT, Medical Advice Please

All the best Blacksafake. Hope it goes OK. No advice, I just wish you well.

    Welcome Back Luciano

I'm not convinced this is a good idea. Yes we are "only" paying $700k per year, but Luch is still getting $900k per year. I imagine a few players will feel they are entitled to an upgrade after seeing this deal.

    Charity Shield 2024

    I'd add a 5th group. It's a trial, who cares.

    TOP FOUR BOTTOM FOUR 2020

Manly still have a good enough side to beat anyone on their day, but can they string a bunch of wins together? Parra and Souths in the same boat. Storm to decline, but then I say that every year. Knights and Warriors to revert to type and fall down the ladder. Dolphins & Dragons to improve but...

    2024 Squad List

Based on that photo, Lomax will be packing down in the front row.

    Twiggys with us

Good luck with that. While ever you pay a "network cost fee" or a "daily connection fee", you will always get a bill. And the suppliers keep putting up the daily connection fee to cover their costs so what hope do you have.

    Twiggys with us

Not that I want to take anything away from your post but that 53% refers to the capacity if everything was operating. The actual electricity energy provided by renewables is closer to 31% of the total (see p10 of this report...

    Flanno's New Signings

Just so people are aware, the author of that article is still in High School. He started writing articles for the Roar as a 13 year old. He's not a professional journalist, but good on him for having a go. Who knows, he may end up being right.

    Flanno's New Signings

You would hope there is some strategising going on but I'm buggered if I can see it. First we were chasing gun halves (Dearden/Manu/that English bloke), then reserve grade halves with potential, and now we're after a hooker?

    Volkman & Allan gone

I didn't say they were covered by workers comp, but they were covered by insurance. Don't ask me the details. I wasn't that interested at the time, I was just told they were covered. And yes, I still think it's entirely possible that Volkman was covered by some form of insurance.

    Volkman & Allan gone

I'd like to add a point: 5) There are an awful lot of supporters who are quick to jump on the club and assume they have done the wrong thing, despite not all the facts being known.

    Volkman & Allan gone

I'm saying they might well have a separate policy for people who turn up and do things in the workplace, as long as it's not actually playing a game. And as I said in the Construction industry, it was not uncommon for some tradespeople to come to the workplace and do minor work to confirm their...

    Volkman & Allan gone

For actually playing games, for sure. But he wasn't playing a game, he turned up for training. Is that the same insurance policy? Who knows. And as I said, there are similar scenario's where people do attend workplaces and do workplace things without a contract of employment, and they're still...

    Volkman & Allan gone

I'm not sure that's true. The club will have 3rd party person insurance to cover anyone for an accident that occurs on their property - that may apply. Also, I used to work for a construction company, we'd trial boilermakers in the workshop where they'd have to prove their competencies, and that...

    Flanno's New Signings

Why are we chasing Woolford? This only makes sense if we are moving Liddle to half or 5/8 or something equally strange.
