    2020 NRL draw

    Another year of the Broncos getting a leg up from the NRL. More TV prime-time (= more jersey sponsorship due to TV coverage) & less 5 day turnarounds than anyone else. Also, if the NRL want more 'family-friendly' times - get rid of Friday 6pms..

    Corp support, sure. But there are a lot more Rugby Fans in Canberra than there are in the CC. A-League is apples & oranges. I'm thrilled the Raiders are in our comp, but am still dirty on the Bear's exclusion.

    Southport to Brisbane CBD is about an hour's drive at the most. Sydney CBD to Penrith - about 2 days (3 days, if you hit peak hour)

    Again, another person with a common sense approach. The Central Coast Bears (with a huge amount of juniors, tradition, etc) was the go, but admitting they didn't always know everything has never been an NRL trait. However, there is still time: Move the Titans to Brisbane & then bring in Central...

    Spot-on. I live in Tweed Heads. I know the demographics & the general attitude. The Titan's early years drew great crowds because it was new & trendy - it was always going to drop off. It is a great place to live, but a 'fair-weather' town with 'fair-weather' fans. Giants, Seagulls, Gladiators...
