    Are you saying its not good RL? In the last 6 years the NRL GF (the best RL in the world) has had 1 game with a margin of under 14 pts. Three of these games were absolute shockers - 32-8 in 2010, 40-0 in 2008, 34-8 in 2007.

    to be fair, there were some clubs in the usarl that needed expanded numbers to fill in their roster spots for certain games and i recall some jockeying of the schedule because of this. with that being said, they did kick off every game, which is certainly commendable

    out of curiosity usarl folks - which "american" born players from this comp would have made the usa side? i know there are a couple of ex pats that would have had a chance, but regardless, even if the tomahawks included the usarl players i can see selections being almost exactly the same i...

    there is no validity to this....as far as i know there has not been a single usa game since separate leagues have been formed. however, when games convene in aug and if this is the case, then you have a valid point. except for the inferiority piece...which again is nonsense

    no, i don't. i think you develop the game locally with promoting camaraderie w/ the boys backed by a top notch sport to play. very few will ever get selected to play for a national team but if you feel selections depend on the league you play in, whats it worth to you wearing a usa jumper?

    i think the idea is that everyone who is involved with the league collectively owns the league.

    seems you're taking it more personal....the general idea is to develop the game in more regions. national teams have nothing to do with said development. selections have not and never will be fair regardless of whether there is 10 leagues or 1. i've asked a number of times on these boards...

    you're entitled to your opinion as am i. i would not consider being thrashed by over 100 pts as a. competing; b. good for anything. in fact, it could very well be a game like this that keeps players from ever playing again. besides 2 of the teams in your examples don't exist anymore, possibly...
