    Hawkins was better tonight. Hopefully he can continue to progress as the year goes on. Tom lead the pack very well in the second half. The leadership he brings will be missed. Havili, Shaq and Moale handled the extra minutes well, showing that they're capable of doing so.

    If the team put in this kind of effort on the park earlier in the season, JD wouldn't be in the gun. Feels harsh that this is likely his last game in charge but it's the multiple results before tonight that has cost him.

    How good's a 4 forward bench? I'm a dribbler sat in front of a tv and even I've been able to see for the last 5 years or so that a backline utility option on the bench is a necessity when picking a 17.

    DCE being frozen out of the Qld side after falling out with some of the heavy hitters during Mal's time in charge concerns me. Is he really going to sort the squad out or is he just going to cuddle the problem children?

    Sure, lets keep giving ownership of the team to the 6 who also missed 4 tackles, also made 3 errors and can only set up the team from an attacking set piece.

    Why not? Give ownership of the team to Hawkins and anyone who doesn't want to get in line can play NSW Cup.

    If JD gets the sack midseason, I'd give Dean Pay the job in an interim role for the remainder of the season. Might not be the best coach out there but he was able to get terrible Canterbury teams to put in for him and i believe is a strong enough character that he won't tip toe around anyone in...

    If JD had any stones, he would've dropped Cody. Instead he's dropped guys that won't create too much fuss for him. Gutless.

    I think I'd prefer to see Duncan at centre over Chee Kam. I really don't rate MCK.

    The senior players haven't been doing the job for the past 12 months, why should they be backed to do it now?
