Vics out for 114, Quiney with a 9, who'd have thought

SOK with 4 wickets continues to out bowl Lyon and the Rug with a hatty to clean up the tail

Lyon 3/38 v SOK 4/46, hardly outbowled. Lyon had first two wickets in Vic's 2nd dig

Since when is 4 wickets not better than 3 ?

Blues 3 wins in a row and are at the top of the ladder.

Not bad when the top side are all away.

Another round on.

NSW 7/297, Nevill again has lead the recovery from 5/102, currently 82* and continuing to show why he should be in the test team at present. Sandhu banging the ball about, on 70.

SA are 6/188 on day three, trailing Tasmania's 364. Cooper made 104.

Qld have been rolled by Victoria for 207, with Burns easily the standout scoring 86 opening the batting. Pattinson took 3/34

Bayliss should reverse our batting order, the tail and Nev are the only ones who have scored runs since the return...and once again they've taken us from 6/110 to 394.

Nice 87 from SOK, shame Sandu ran out of partners on 98.

Tasmaniacs 6/147 in the second innings, lead of 10 runs

State of the Sheffield Shield Victoria (first, 48.54 points).
Beat Tasmania in Alice Springs, make the final. Can host.

Western Australia (second, 48.48 points). Beat NSW at home, make the final. Can host.

NSW (third, 44.82 points). Must beat WA to make the final - or pick up an unlikely swag of bonus points and hope Victoria lose to host.

Queensland (fourth, 31.40 points). Out of the running. Tasmania (fifth, 27.11 points). No chance.

South Australia (sixth, 24.61 points). Headed for a fifth wooden spoon in six seasons.

The last round (games start Friday) Western Australia v NSW, Perth Victoria v Tasmania, Alice Springs Queensland v South Australia, Brisbane The final starts March 21

Hard to believe we are down to the last game.

We dont play anywhere near enough 4 day cricket in this country imo.

Interesting game situations:
VIC 449 & 1/47 v TAS 145
NSW 407 v WA 1/55
SA 230 v QLD 8/354

And can someone explain to me how Hopes is opening the bowling for QLD?
