The Storm are assured of a top 2 finish, the Cows are still a little vulnerable in terms of the top 4 but it's hard to see them not making it honestly. So this game does have some meaning otherwise it'd be just an exhibition match between two excellent footy teams. Nowhere near the Mt Smart game in terms of bearing on the finals though. The Cows are going for a perfect record at home, this is the toughest match they'll face. I think they'll do it. The Storm are a bit off over the last couple of weeks, even though they've beaten the bottom 2 teams, they haven't done it convincingly.

The Cows were ruthless last week, but that doesn't mean they will be again against tougher opposition.

We scraped past them at Suncorp earlier this season but Townsville is a whole new kettle of fish. Hoping JT doesn't play. If he does, we will probably be slightly outclassed.

Going to be a cracker in any case

without JT we are still much, much better than the newcastle team who came close to doing over the storm in their current form. Been doing enough lately but haven't been excellent. Going to be good, just for the love of god greeny don't put ray thompson in the halves!!!

Our close games to Newcastle aren't anything new. We haven't had a convincing win against them since...ever

I think a narrow loss or a good win.
I do tend to think JT will miss this one to be safe, we can drop a game...the other games are not going to be as hard as this (going on form).

We definitely have the potential to win without JT but we have get our attack in sync.

Looks like the points we do score will need to come in tackles 1-4, the last tackle option will be horrendous

People still don't get it.The Cows are a complete side.It won't matter one bit if JT is there or not,the Cows are playing better overall than anything that will be thrown at them.

Cows by 8.

Morgan and Coote will take the last tackle options, the number 7 doesn't mean dominant playmaker.
