He is incredibly homesick. We chased him at large in 2014 as did the Cowboys but he stayed loyal to Melbourne.
He may as well take the same position, on the same amount of money and be comfortable in his surroundings. Good career move for him as well.

He already is a utility, he's pretty much played every position apart from prop at some stage.

Makes sense for him to come back to North QLD and be closer to home and have job security with a 3 year deal, he'll be a great backup player.
