George "The Animal Steel" passed away.

Saw him wrestle Cowboy Bob Orton at the Ent Cent in the late 1980's. Was a terrible match, George was DQ'd for eating a turnbuckle after about 3 minutes.

Still, he was fun to watch back in the day.

And Chavo Guerrero Sr, or Chavo Classic. He was a big deal in the classic LA territory and Eddies brother, and obviously Chavo Jrs old man.

Remember Ivan Koloff won the WWWF World Heavyweight Championship off Bruno Sammartino. That was an absolutely enormous deal. Bruno held the belt for over 7 years. It was done to move the belt onto Pedro Morales without having a face v face match, but is still phenomenal. In his later career he was one half of the Russians with Nikita Koloff in the NWA.

George the Animal, great character. Pivotal to Steamboat/Savage. Good character, good bloke.

RIP boys, great wrestlers.

Hard times in these hard time blues. Harley I believe is in assisted care and Vader I believe is fighting cancer.
