SA all out for 229, Cummins with 4 wickets....

In reply NSW doing nicely at 2 for a 140-odd.... Dogga Maddinson opened the batting and was dismissed for 70. Solid comeback from the kid...

Maddinson got his 50 off 36 balls, Ed Cowan another ton not out, Kurtis Patterson another 50, he really must be up there in the highest FC averages, Henriques 22 NO

Blues 3/281 with a 50 run lead 7 wickets remaining, Chad Sayers none for a lot

Cummins having a fine return to 1st class cricket. Wickets in the first innings, scored 42 with the bat and picked up the first early wicket in the redbacks 2nd dig. SA trail be 190-odd with 1 back in the shed already...

Cummins is the most promising fast bowler we have produced in decades....and that's saying something. He's a phenomenally talented cricketer, he's just also made of spun sugar....

Cummins - broken down and arse raped, bleeding on the side of a road - would be better than Stoinis, Maxwell, M Marsh and Faulkner combined.

Cummins with 8 wickets for the match, NSW needed 100 to win outright and got home with only 2 wickets down.

Cowan 48 NO and Patterson 31 NO. Maddinson opened and got 18 off 0, needs to slow down and play longer innings for mine.

Chad Sayers failed to take a wicket.

Should put us in the finals, not bad considering most of our team are in India.

WA vs NSW at the WACA this weekend, I know that WA need an outright result to make the final but what do NSW need given they are already 2nd?

WA are 221 ahead with about half an hour to tea on day 3. They should be able to set NSW 340 or 350 (or even more if they go the tonk) in a day which will be a tough target. Meanwhile SA with one wicket left lead Tas by 230. If NSW win they will make the final, but if they hold on for a draw SA might sneak through. WA need to win to have any chance and it still may not be enough, depending on bonus points, which are a bit mysterious.

Would be good if we knew which way the SA Tas game was going as that would decide if NSW need to chase. Although like the Aussie team they probably don't know how to defend anyway

NSW need 148 in ~30 overs with 7 wickets standing. Wish it was on TV. WA now with no chance of making the final so maybe going through the motions.
