Round 2 Vs Tigers

For anyone that wants to look ahead round 2 against the Tigers.

What changes could we expect or you would like to see made?

We need our forward pack to fire up to have a chance before worrying about Tedesco & Moses.

If that happens I would like to us attack the Tigers right side defence. Souths had a lot of success down their last Friday with 3 soft tries to Goodwin. At times I noticed the Tigers defence seemed compressed.
We need to get Peachey good early ball I believe.

Thoughts?

Yep if we get our shit together I would target Tigers right side. Naiqama can't defend. I would send all bombs to Suli too and nothing in Tedesco's region.

Forwards just need to go forward, and find their hearts that have gone missing somewhere.

>>> HIKU is out for a Month ... Broken Eye Socket

Edwards to come in or DWZ maybe early return.

Edwards or MWZ in for Hiku.
Cartwright bench or out totally - Browne in
Akouala in for Leota
JFH - NSW Cup to get match fit. Rein to the bench

Not wholesale changes just enough to get us going

Hiku injured is a blessing in disguise. L
We need huge metres from our wingers out of our own end. Moylan wont offer much to get up field. Actually none of our wing options really stand out to make metres like DWZ and Mansour.

But I think our best bet would be Edwards on one wing. MWZ the other.

No way Whare is dropped. But he's nowhere near his best yet and we cant carry him if he isnt a danger on either side of the ball.

I think we need Peachey and Blake as our permanent centres. Unless injured. Moving them is unfair on them.. peachey at hooker and Blake on the wing is just a waste of both. Rein on the bench solves one issue. Selecting capable wingers on the wing fixed the other.

I think he did OK all things considered (first game back from an ACL, played 78 minutes with fractured eye socket, forwards completely dominated.
He and Whare arent much help to our forwards though. Moylan isn't either.

DWZ and Mansour probably knock more blokes over with their runs than most of our forwards do. Blake is our only back left with the size and pace to do that now.

I want to see Bryce aim up or be excused, if mentally not 100% step aside.
Worst game I've seen vs saintly, no doubt rattled and mind not on the job.

I'd give Bryce a week off, to deal with the distractions until the media forget about it (which will be next week).

Not many changes needed to the team in my opinion, they just need to aim up and be more aggressive in defence and stop playing touch football in attack. That's Hook's job to get their heads in the right space.
