It seems like getting rid of Farah wasn't the answer, I hope Taylor falls on his sword now.

We overpaid Robbie and he did have to go but probably at the end of his contract. All the drama over Robbie during Taylor's tenure was pointless.

Lovett got dropped on every run like a toothpick he is very b grade against a powerful Raiders pack. Looked like an under 8s player.

But he'll get picked next week, why I don't know. What does he offer off the bench that a Tatola or a Felise doesn't?

Maybe a magpiesque run of 50+ beltings will finally get the broom through the joint we desperately need.

I hope it continues ... thats the only way for change... but then again its groundhog day at our club. ..i cant se anything changing .. i really thought Potter was on track but wasnt given a fair go.

He tried to make the team tuff and it was working until factors sabotaged it all

Until Grant Mayer the dirty dog stuck the knife in Potter's back. I liked Potter and thought we were improving as a side unlike whats happening now with JT. Even Brooks was playing good footy under Potter

To think we have now let Blake Austin and Te Mare martin leave to keep Brooks and moses. Throwing all our eggs in 1 rotten basket

Like last week we played pretty good football for 30 minutes and then our powerhouse reserve bench started to find their way....not.

I'd take the (c) away from Woods after that performance and give it to someone with more fight, have we got anyone besides Taylor.

Tim Grant topped the tackle count yesterday with 36 in 67 minutes.Looking at the other forwards,
Sue 13 in 36 minutes
McIlwrick 16 in 33
Lawrence 20 in 49
Woods 31 in 69
Ava 28 in 48
Edwards 16 in 53
Aloiai 18 in 38
Lovett 29 in 44

Hopefully Taylor is back next week and I wouldn't be surprised if Lovett walks straight back in and replace Sue.

Lets be honest.

It'd be right and easy to dump players.

But who will replace them?

The treatment of Farah, an institution at the club and respected by the players, turned players away from the club. So we desperately scrambled to keep what was left by giving them whatever they wanted.

Hence the cap mess and lack of depth.

We'll be the Knights of 2016. But worse.

Give someone like Elijah Taylor the captaincy.

He leads from the front anyway, I'm sure the captain role will come along naturally

I also don't think Woods is the right guy as the captain. Elijah Taylor is a good option but we need some weapons around him in the pack. I'd probably give the captaincy to Tedesco. He is the only guy who is a sure starter if he is fit.

As I understand it we didn't overpay him, a lot of it was backpay for previous seasons where the club was in trouble with the cap, I believe it cost a semi spot last year, as we were playing a second rower in a specialist position, anyway good riddance to Taylor.

It was one of the dumbest decisions I've ever seen. The only positive was that Taylor was using Robbie as an excuse for his and the team's poor performances and getting rid of Robbie has taken that excuse away.

I reckon this year is now a right off but hopefully we can start rebuilding now.

As it was during Potters torpedoed couple of years...farah/ potter....farah / Tallis.....farah / tallis / potter.....farah / potter / potter out.....grateful to taylor for getting that disruptive drama queen out of here. ..couldnt care less how delighted his is over this
