We are a work in progress.

There's positives:
We blew the Raiders off the park in Canberra, so would expect we are top 4 material.
Segyaro will be huge.
Brailey is the goods.
Very rusty in 2 games yet in both near the death.

And negatives:
Loots/Feki - tick. But Loots/Eldrick - clunk. Will not work.
Chad - Every halfback needs a super fullback to make life easier. Cronks a different player with Slater. Hunt would be even worse without Darius linking to make the extra man. And so on.
Chad won a GF with the fullback we had last year. But he can be made to look pedestrian with the input we got from the back today.

It's only early days.....and injuries aren't helping - but positionally, Flanno has to sort out real quick where these guys go - Holmes, Bird, Lee, Braily/Seggy, Capewell - because that shite today was plain awful.

Bird must have cut out that article where Gould praised his to be the next immortal at the back and hung it on the back of the toilet door.
Back to the centres

Holmes is not a fullback, yet;
Bird is not a fullback;
Lee is getting better;
Braily/seggy will work itself out; &
Capewell is not a centre.

Maybe it was the loss we had to have, to prove to the likes of bird where his best position is - as you say we are work in progress.

Including the WCC the Sharks have thrown up 3 stinkers and a blinder.

Consistency will develop. The first 6 rounds is about getting into the season in a position to build momentum. Need to be 3 and 3 and building.

Last night was a very poor performance against a rank ordinary side. It should have answered the fullback question and given a rocket to any complacency.

After 3 rounds we are about where I expected to be. I also expect a loss this weekend.

We will need to shake the hangover, and there is no doubt we have one, and need to settle on combinations.
We haven't run out with the same 17 two weeks in a row.
The season will kick start shortly, there is too much talent to not get going.

So the half needs a good fullback for what? To stop him kicking the ball out on the full? or Maybe to add 3 yards of pace so that his telegraphed dummies might actually work one day? Or to make up for a few of his missed tackles?
What a lot of hot c*ck!

Two things...

As you're the resident expert on what a lot of hot cock feels like, I won't debate that issue.

Secondly, if you have no idea how the fullback in the modern game relieves pressure on his halfback then it's a waste of time getting into that as well.

So swallow another load and phfark off.

Seriously, that's your best sledge? Can't answer a few basic observations about a player and you resort to abuse. No one with half a brain would swallow that halfback is only as good as his fullback drivel.
If Townsend was half the player that you and others think he is, he would stand on his own. But no instead he keeps playing like a reserve grader week in week out and pissants like you make excuses for it.
Sorry but won't be taking your advice and won't be going anywhere.

As someone else inquired: Is Feki injured?
Lee was better in so far as his involvement goes, but if using him for the high balls -forget it! He wont put his body on the line by actually trying to get above others to catch the ball!
IMHO we missed Feki yesterday -big time!
