Just heard on 2gb that 18 fans were ejected from shark park on sunday
Also heard a female constable was hurt trying to break up a scuffle
Must be the underage kids who dont go to watch the game but go to drink alcohol and socialise at the back of the hill and bring in grog
That has been going on at the back of the hill for the last 20 years at shark park
Sounds like the sharks still havent done anything about that issue

Went to the game on Sunday and most of the Sharks supporters I saw walking in had been drinking. Saw them walking to the ground with beers or something else. Has been like that for years. Also they hate losing to the Dragons, so the combination of grog and losing makes some of them lash out. Not saying all of them are like that, but there is a fair amount of them.

Actually I thought it was an eerily, sedate evening.

While leaving the ground, a Cronulla fan noticed my Dragons' jacket, and facetiously pretended to burn it with his cigarette lighter.

My censored riposte went along the lines of "Peptide side effects", and a gentle reminder that his club 'prostituted' itself to Rupert Murdoch and Super League in the mid 90s.

He was not amused (but I found it hysterically funny).

Standard behaviour really.

Really, even I think all of that from both is just plain stupid and immature, but each to its own.

As for the idiot/s on the hill, ban them for life

The encounter and subsequent exchange contained about as much vitriol that you'd find on a fifth grade cricket club game.

Nothing more than a bit of gold ol' fashioned banter.

Yeh about seeing so many walking to the game with a beer in hand. Why does anyone feel the need to be under the influence at a game of footy??? Sure most people are great but out of a thousands your going to get some bad tempers...

I do wonder whether it was just Sharks fans, though. There was a brawl at Kogarah after we beat the Panthers. So there's been three Dragons games, and brawls at two of them...is Skull still floating around with his Nazi propaganda?

The current state of refereeing would make anyone drink.
