And the SMH says 4 years for 4 million.

Big difference of opinion on cost....or are those the before and after salary cap numbers?

Food for thought, the 1.2 million a year figure was ridiculed on triple MMM. They said if Jack Bird gets that then what are Anthony Milford and Darius Boyd going to expect.

Broncos or Knights, tough choice that one.

I don't see him as a replacement for Hunt though.

It wasn't a choice between Bronco's and the Knights. He could have stayed at the Sharks and many other clubs approached his management but were put off by the $1m+ demands, the Roosters being one of them.

A million for Bird is ridiculous unless you are the donkeys and can put 750 in TPAs on the table.

Death to the donkeys.

would love to see him play lock at the donkeys, they are already undersized enough as it is. the move for maguire to lock was to try and help them beef up, and now they want to play essentially a modern day backrower in a middle forwards position.

at 6 him with milf i don't see who directs them around the park.

completely unbalanced signing.

As much as it grates me to say it he will go well no matter where they put him for mine. The bloke is an out and out winner.

The only frustrating thing is how they get him under the cap and keep all their other stars as well as young Nikorima. It doesn't add up and my problem with rolling out TPA's cover it is the bit of that term that says Third Party. There is no way any TPA money for Broncos players is at arms length. A number of other teams are the same and it makes a mockery of the salary cap concept.

Ok got that off my chest now as a Knights fan, time to move forward into continued mediocrity!

Yes. Bennett ball does require a pretty structured approach in the halves. It can accommodate 1 half that plays off the cuff while the other manages the game as they have now but not sure about 2.

I am sure Wayno has a plan.
