How's that for timing.

Adamkungl was more asking regarding the club scene? Don't seem to read or see much,I recall Vereya Bears were a strong club from a few years ago.

Fantasti. Good to see some familiar clubs.

Weren't Dynamo Moscow and Lokomotiv part of the set up recently?

They were getting some good crowds just a few years ago, I hope this season will be the same for them.

That looks like a Lokomotiv Moscow home game, which is a shame because it looks like they've opted out (again?) judging by that article. Unless the interest from Russia as mentioned by the RFL months back was them pushing for a League 1 team, unlikely though.

A league 1 club would be great for Russia and could finally bring them out of their bubble. Problem with that is it needs someone with a lot of money behind the idea.

"the bubble" is an interesting problem. To improve quickly you definitely need outside influence. But even if they wanted to how does Russia attract English/French/Australian experts to life their game

It's an interesting one, no doubt the language and cultural barrier is a big problem hence why we never hear much from Russia.

Having their own professional team join the English system would be best way forward I think, but again that needs major money behind it.

Another option is for players to actively seek out trials in UK/Aus. Being realistic though not many would be up for that I'd imagine when you think about how difficult it would be logistically, culturally and financially just to play lower grade Rugby League.
