Asofa no chance the Syorm have worked hard to keep him away from Union but he may still head to the rah rahs.

Fatsiano hates the Dragons and i'd say a few players would like to knock his head off.
Fatsiano as you put it was supposedly seen touring the storms premises. If so then i'd say him,Asofa & Bromwich will make a pretty good front row rotation.

Asofa is the only external recruit I believe we have a chance of signing. James Graham is apparently staying at the Dogs and all the other top line props are under contract - except for George Burgess.

For making a decision that will go some way to securing his families financial future.

Yep, I see exactly where you're coming from.
I'm really going to miss Packer and I wish him all the best at the Tigers. Don't know why, I feel the same now as I did when B Moz went to the Dogs.

Oh yes you are right he was playing for love at the dragons!
It is the greatest one liner these players come up with!
In a years time there will be some article on Dugan stating some spew about how he feels right at home at the Sharks and how he feels like a 20 year old again, justifying his reasons for walking out on the dragons!

See here is the problem. I didn't say he was playing for the love of the dragons, didn't even hint at it.

The reality is if it is their profession, it is how the derive income, ergo, enables them to secure their families future. It may be a stretch to expect you to grasp this simple premise, but personally, I understand it and can see why he made the decision to move on, and hold no grudges at all towards packer. I actually wish him all the best.

Would you leave your current employer if one across town offered you 200k per year more?

I don't believe some of the figures these journos report, take out what they have to pay back to the tax man, the gap between offers are fairly close, I just think egos play a huge part, how dare Hunt get more than Dugan, how dare Vaughan get more than Packer, my dick is bigger than yours haha, get the picture mate.

No I don't.

The level of income we're talking about, each offer would pay the same rate of tax. It would maginally close the figures but certainly not enough to warrant a reconsideration of a 200k difference.

That is not much of a difference unless there are massive brown paper bags or wanting to prove your dick is bigger.

Your fascination with dicks is a tad concerning, each to their own. Munch on brother.

With the benefit of hindsight, Letting Bmoz go wasn't the dumbest thing this club has done in recent memory. Thinking a Fijian hotel porter was an adequate replacement for him though, well now that's a different story.......

Packer must be getting excited to be playing w the Tigers next year! They're doing so well- i hope he watches tonites inept performance!! and btw Cleary is a myth a coach - Tigers were a better structured team under Taylor!

I know that I'll get beat up over this, but I am an old head - as we say in the states, I would send him down to the minors - thanks Russell enjoy the rest of the season downstairs
