Wants to play on next year and is open to a move away from the Warriors. Could be a temporary replacement for Packer and would give time for Kerr and Lawrie to mature.

Would Wakeman have been kept if we knew Packer was not staying?
Poeple in here are saying we didnt do a deal for Packer late last year because we didnt know if he would come good after 2 surgeries.
Meanwhile we kept on with the big pie eater Masoe which is just typical of our club.
Would have loved to have seen Shannon play in the NRL but as usual we didn't bother to find out and now we have a potential crisis and will probably buy yet another journey man who will offer nothing other than limiting playing time for our juniors.

Agree OT
The only reason wakeman isn't with the dragons is because Mary dosn't like him.
He was continually stuff up by mary.

It's a failure of our coaching and club overall (including a lot of supporters) that we seem to want to look outside the club first, rather than give the guys we already have a go. We have two exciting prospects in Dufty and Field who could be potential superstars at fullback yet every man and his dog is getting a mention before we've even seen them have a decent run in first grade.

Same with the props. Lawrie and Kerr are already here, ready to go, just waiting for a chance. Jacob Lillyman? Bloody hell, what's Jeremy Latimore doing next season? If they're good enough they're old enough buy we won't know unless we try them. By the start of next season they'll both be older than Craig Young was when he made his debut. And he turned out okay.

Umm Masoe has/had signed a 2 year deal injured at training in the 1st year, it is our duty to rehabilitate him, either way if we discarded him we would still have his salary in the cap, there is talk he is heading back to the ESL, if he finishes the season without anymore injuries, i would be tempted to give him another year on a low contract....
