French players who could do well in the NRL

Good.

Then you will clearly agree that Holmes > Fages > Thurston > Pearce > Norman.

It is all so obvious.

Tom Holmes had one good game. Theo Fages has been good for more than two seasons, at either scrum half or five eighth, and would run rings around some NRL halves currently playing. For starters he is much better than Josh McCrone at St. George-Illawarra, or Trent Hodkinson to name just two.

Hey, I agreed with you. Based on the logic you were using, that adamkungl agrees with, Fages > Thurston (and Pearce>Norman...). Unless you feel McCrone or Hodkinson are also better than Thurston, then that means Fages is also better than them.

I don't know why anyone would have a problem with this logic....and it inevitably leads to Holmes > Fages as well. No shame in Fages being the second best half in the history of the Universe...

Gilbert Benausse - second highest ever point scorer for France would have been great.

Pity he's forgotten by aficionados.

Julien Bousquet is a gun prop for the Catalans. He would make an ideal replacement for departing Kane Evans at the Sydney Roosters in 2018.
