Looks like they're starting to add up.

Latest -

*Wallace - 4-6 weeks (grade 2 adductor strain)

NRLphysio on twitter reckons it could be as low as 2.

*Cartwright - going for scans

Best case 4-6 weeks up to 6 months

(Lateral miniscus tear)

*Mckendry - season (ACL)

*Mansour - round 13 (ACL)

*JFH - unsure, perhaps week to week?

*Yeo - week to week, likely back rd13

So we've got a bit of a circuit breaker at 5/8

And a conundrum at hooker. Although with the byes Wallace may only miss one or two matches

NRL has

Panthers: Sam McKendry (knee, Round 12-14), Josh Mansour (knee, mid-season), James Fisher-Harris (hamstring, Round 13), Peter Wallace (groin, Round 16-18), Bryce Cartwright (knee, indefinite)..

I thought McKendry was gone for the year.

McKendry did his knee in Round 17 last year, early July, about 4 months before Mansour. Maybe its a more complicated reconstruction, but you'd think he'd be getting close to a comeback sometime soon. Not that he'll probably make the first grade side anyway.

For two members of the first grade side (prior to their respective injuries), the club has been very quiet about big Sam's recovery, whereas for Mansour we've seen lots of updates. Makes you wonder if Sam is part of the club's plans for the future.

Could be that, or could be mansour takes his physique and fitness pretty bloody serious so the journey back to health is an interesting story to share via social networks.
For some reason I imagine Mckendry eating meat pies and slamming oak while he does a few biceps curls as a part of his recovery.

Mckendrys current injury comes from a trial in February

This is the second ACL on the same knee, first was rd 17 last year.

Bryce out. Who is the mastercoach going to put in as half instead of Moylan?

My money is on Peachey.

CARTWRIGHT OUT FOR THREE MONTHS

by Christian Nicolussi

PENRITH'S Bryce Cartwright has undergone knee surgery today with fears he could be sidelined for up to three months.

Scans at the start of the week confirmed Cartwright had suffered a lateral meniscus tear in his left knee during the Panthers 30-20 victory over Newcastle.

But further tests revealed Cartwright was left with no other option but to go under the knife.

While Penrith remain hopeful he will only miss six weeks, Cartwright has told those close to him he's looking at almost double that time to recover.

It will cap a shocking season for the Panthers youngster who already missed six weeks at the start of the season with an ankle injury.

This time last year he was on the brink of an Origin debut for NSW.

Cartwright could return in time for the finals should the Panthers build on their last two come-from-behind victories and continue their charge up the NRL ladder.

Under normal circumstances you don't like to see any of our players sustain serious injury but sadly I am not disappointed Bryce is virtually now out for the season The pre=season off field issues, injury early on and since his return he has been very poor. He needs to put this season behind him, get fit mentally and physically and come back hopefully bigger and better in 2018.

Despite most on her wishing and hoping for Moylan to be given the number six it isn't gonna happen so I hope TMM comes in and fill's the role. He is a talented kid and hopefully get's the gig for the rest of the season.
