The guy I feel sorry for is Moeen. He's been a fairly consistent solid batsman, but he's moved up and down the order to try and support the plods around him. Just give him the #5 and let him run with it.

Wait, you're denying that Warner is a home town flat track bully?

Everyone bats better at home.

But more than that Australia's endless battery of quicks almost always get more out of the pitch than their opposites as they know what works and where to pitch it - with the RSA series last year a rare example of an oppositions quicks out bowling Australia.

Wasn't denying anything, asking why poms cant bat on a flat deck the same deck Warner does

So by your comments, guys like Anderson and Broad have NFI how to bowl in Australia? home town seaming deck bullies? lol

Those damn Australian pitches. When Australia bats they're roads, when opposition teams bat on them they turn to green tops.

Or could it be that bowlers like Anderson who look a million dollars on wickets that do a bit look like plodders when they've got no assistance?

Ok I was wrong.

Davey Warner is a beast on all decks; especially at home on those green tops.

His record proves it.

Agree.
He has been shuffled up and down the order and shunted to 8. He is not a first choice spinner.
Averages a tick over 35 with 5 centuries. He should be made to work on his batting so he get that average up to 40, which I think is achievable for him.
His bowling will get pulverised out here this summer.
Bayliss should put him up to 5 as a batsmen and pick a spinner that can build up pressure and take wickets. There must be someone in England that can be a front line spinner. Not this part time all- rounder rubbish like Dawson.

That was even more embarrassing than what the Saffas did to Australia at Hobart.

Huge respect to South Africa. They are proof that quality fast bowlers win Test matches.

Their batting line up is, like everyone in world cricket atm - and probably thanks to T20 - pretty average.

But because they have a quality arsenal of quicks they can still win Tests on a regular basis anywhere in the world probably bar India.

That's what keeps Australia relevant. A lethal armoury of quicks. And yes, one of the best batsman of all time to keep the runs ticking over.

Lol poms can't even play on their own turf. Lol Ballace again too.
Pretty embarrassing when one side racks up nearly 350 twice and they get bowled out by a side missing their best bowler in Rabada.
They couldn't even get above 135 at their home ground.

Allen Igglesden, Simon Brown, Steve James and the great Aftab Habib can all feel desperately unlucky not to get a Balance recall selection.

LOLing at Ingerlund aside, there really is a lack of quality batsmen worldwide....
