This one came off morris' head (about 1min mark) It was awarded as try. Even got sent up as a no try but when they realised it came off his head it was given a try even though it went forward. http://www.bulldogs.com.au/news/2016/10/24/_2016_moment_twins_d.html

And that was also a ludicrous call.

I think the one I'm talking about was also the Dogs. Frawley to a backrower? Can't remember specifics.

But semantics aside, Peachey touched it anyway. I'm just suggesting the rule is ridiculous

Updated! It was 19 runs for 195 metres and 55 tackles PLUS a linebreak assist.

That's Nathan Brown on his best day.
Yeah if it was 18 hit ups and 180m the Sharks win :joy:

He's a selfish stats padding merkin, how many of those hit ups were on the 4th tackle in the oppositions 20m??? Story of his career. Him bombing the try and costing his team the win was priceless.

Yeah Gallens legacy isn't going to be 200m and 50 tackles a game. It's going to be giving away penalties in front of the sticks when the game is on the line and getting in the way of anyone who has a modicum of playmaking ability when the game is on the line

Even when the halfback is waiting to take the drop out 20m right in front with 30 seconds to go???

It was a selfish play and typical of the bloke.

Also stupid because a field goal is easier to defend/pressure when the play the ball is that close to the line. A set up for a field goal should never be within 10m of the try line..let alone 10cm

Plus, as someone who has kicked many drop goals, all Gallen was doing was bringing the defence closer. Maloney would have been screaming for the ball, they were in much better position before Peptide Paul got in the way.

When the defence knows it's on, it's much easier to kick one from 30m than from 15m.
