Warm up game starts on the 21st

1st test Sept 28-Oct 2
2nd test Oct 6-Oct 10

followed by 3 ODIs and 2 T20s

No sure how competitive Bangers will be, particularly if the decks are bouncy. Could be quite brutal for them, but like non Asian sides playing on their decks, they need to learn how to play on these types of surfaces, so hopefully we see them playing more regular test cricket around the world

SA 3/445 just after lunch on DAY 2 after being sent in by Bangladesh. It's a riverting contest we have here in Potchefstroom.

Elgar - 199
Amla - 137
Markram - 97

Poor old Dean Elgar.

Bangladesh have actually bowled well at times today, regardless of the score. Especially Taskin. It's just a tremendously rubbish wicket and Mushfiqur really stitched the bowlers up. Bavuma is on 8 off 47 and Elgar slowed right down too before he got out. They're just getting nothing from the wicket

I watched a bit of it yesterday

Elgar going for the glory shot to bring up his double ton when all he needed to do was what he had been doing, be patient and a single would have come

stumps day 2

SA 3/496dec.
Bangers 3/127

What is Mushfiqur doing? Has he lost the plot?

Won both tosses and sent the Jaarpies in both times on flat tracks that negate his spinners so early in the match, with quicks who struggle to get the ball over 135kph

Madness.

Forgot to mention the Bangers captain was fielding in the deep a lot. Seems very weird, the commentators couldn't get it either, were bagging him a bit

Anyhow SA are 3/430 odd, probably declare when they hit 600 before tea on day 2 for mine

To think we got beaten by this mob.

They are a different team away from home as well as SA being very good at home.

Sending the opposition in on great batting decks when Spin is your strength hasn’t helped them either.

Just shows everyone is pretty good at home and travel like the 1999 Magpies.
