Your QLD mob st full strength got pumped by SA lol. Don’t go throwing stones.

QLD are just so meh these days. I remember when I was younger when they had Law, Love, Seccombe, Maher, Kaspa, Symonds, Bichel and Dale but now they are hopeless

If Maddinson can transfer his one day form into Shield form would he be considered to slot back into the Australian middle order for the ashes?

Mate, you forgot the great James Hopes, backbone of the QLD side for decades...

He deserves a chance when he's actually in form as opposed to previously when he was chucked in out of form. But Shield form is the valid thing, see how he goes. Although I kind of feel like he's probably been marked....but you never know with our selectors.

More likely he'll kill it, not get picked, start next season with 9 single figure scores and the muppets in charge will pick him "because he had a stellar 17/18 season"...

He will be a good trivia question in a few seasons though. 0.0 overs, 1/1 today.

He's not ready for Test cricket and may never be but he definitely deserves a decent crack in the one day side.

He always was a much better short form player than 4 or 5 days cricket.

So they pick him in test cricket.

He needs 4 day runs under his belt, he's naturally aggressive and I think the ODI format suits him for now

He needs to lose the porn star mo, he looks f**king ridiculous

He could have been very handy In India in our 4-1 drubbing

So for the ashes we pick either Maxwell or one of the Marshs at 6, even if Maddinson scores heavy in Shield?

agree the mo is hideous, Movember is still weeks away

If he scores some runs against a good side sure. So far he's scored runs against the two worst sides. Taste are probably even worse than the Cricket Aus X1.

Don't get me wrong you still need the runs for form, but surely it's the other games that should be more important and hold a greater weighting.

Needs Shield runs before a recall.

This one day domestic comp getting as much attention as the recent t20 aust v india series...

In any case Blues got tanked today against Victoria and are out
WA look to have the home final, shoot out between SA and the Vics who play them

It's hard to bother with it when all you get is a shitty two or three camera stream tbh....personally I've had a couple of games going when I've been doing uni or whatever but otherwise I cbf

The comp is a joke anyway, thanks to the numbskulls in charge.

We got better coverage of domestic cricket in the early 80’s FFS!!

Pretty sure the final is down at Bellerive Oval regardless of the teams in it.

Didn't realise that, thought it was reward for the first placed side to host the final.

My first memory of watching cricket was the MacDonald Cup.

NSW against Tassie i think, remember the great Imran Khan playing for NSW.

I was hooked.
