Who better to ask where a certain team will finish than the fans of the team themselves!

With their strongest line up where would you have them finishing?

3. Timoteo Lafai
4. Euan Aitken
5. Jason Nightingale
6. Gareth Widdop
7. Ben Hunt
8. James Graham
9. Cameron McInnes
10. Paul Vaughan
11. Joel Thompson
12. Tyson Frizell
13. Jack de Belin

Leeson Ah Mau
Tariq Sims
Kurt Mann

Where’s the ‘none of the above’ answer option for the poll?

We have to have a couple of the younger players have a breakout year.If Flo is still in the side by the end of the season ( shows that nobody is giving him competition for his spot ) than no we will struggle to make the 8.

I can't see McGregor picking anything different myself. What do you see as the strongest line-up?
If it was me caution to the wind as the others have proven they can’t do it
Dufty
Garrick
Aitken
Mann
Lomax
Widdop
Hunt
Vaughan
Mc Innes
Graham
Frizell
Thompson
De Belin

LAM
Sims
Host
Sele/ Leilua/Kerr depending who is gong best or who we play
Aitken on notice re defence & passing
Thompson on notice re involvement
Coach on notice for anything & everything
A side like that may finish 7 or 8 at best but could be top 4 in 2019

8-11th.

This isnt just about our team, it's about other team. We came in 9th in a very, very weak comp. Moving forward, a number of teams below us have significantly strengthened their squad and/or coaching staff, while none of those above us have become terribly weaker. Unfortunately, we might scrape into the 8, thereby dooming us for 2019 as well.

With a real coach - 1-4

With McGregor masquerading as a coach - 9-12

Footnote - If McGregor starts the year off poorly, gets sacked ............. a real coach appointed before the halfway mark, we can still make the eight and then some ........... oh yeah!
The best of both worlds...............Give my some of that.

Dear Santa,
Could you please sack the balded one.
Give us a real one and have a good one.

If I was selecting the team, I would have penciled in

1 Dufty
2 McDonald
3 Lomax
4 Lafai
5 Matherson Johns
6 Widdop
7 Hunt
13 Debelin
12 Simms
11 Frizzell
10 Graham
9 McInnes
8 Vaughan

14 AhMau
15 Host
16 Kerr/Latimore
17 Leilua

With that team a lot would be riding on Dufty, Lomax and Matherson Johns being success stories. I think they all have it in them to be a success. We do have a very good pack and a very good pair of halves. They can provide the likes of Dufty, Lomax and Matherson Johns the right circumstances to enter first grade.

I think we should make the top 8. If the above mentioned youngsters get a shot and succeed, we could even be a top 4 team?

I have not seen much of Herbert or Garrick, but I would not mind if either of them were given a shot at centre or wing. McDonald failed to impress last season and if a youngster can take his spot, I would be fine with that. Nightingale is now too slow and should have retired from the NRL last season.
