How do you expect us to answer that? What is the source for the allegation against the unnamed player? If she has made an allegation to police, the player sure as hell can be named. If she has just gone to a tabloid newspaper, they'd be advised to hold their pens/typewriters/laptops.

Here's a source for the issue. The article doesn't make a lot of sense....if the chap has been charged, there's not much point now trying to work out whether it is an isolated incident. Either the report of a charge being laid, or the subsequent investigation are wrong.
