and for teh record, that was his first game for us, first game at centre for 2 years & he was up against a guy who is no slouch in LAfai a prolific off loader. Very well contained.

He dropped it twice in our own ten. One set after dropping the ball he gave away penalty on the last tackle for a head high. It was the worst debut I can remember from a player at our club. He made those around him look worse.

Speaking of tries, could someone explain why the first 1 was given, as I was at a pub & couldn’t hear the commentary.

I thought the ref sent it up as “no try” & I thought the frame he got the ball down was the same frame he went out?

Am I seeing it wrong?

Some better signs there, but by god that second half was tough to watch.
