25 rounds , 1 bye in there, so we play 24 matches.

With our P/D we will most likely need to win 15 from 19 (32 points) Could squeeze in with 14 wins from 19 (30 points)

I’m ruling out a top 4 finish. I know I know I’m being too negative

Will be real tough, but we can go on a massive roll once we get Bev/Hayne back, then Gutho (just heard on Fox could be right this week v raiders)

We are also gonna need Norman and Moses to improve. Kicking is getting better. I’m banking them to lead us better and start winning us games.

Need to scrape a win this weekend v Raiders. Manly the following week at ANZ so 2 in a row will get us going.

I’m locking this thread once we are out of contention. Hope to never lock it

I think, by creating this thread, you have also doomed it to be locked sooner rather than later

Last year the cutoff for the eight was 30 two teams made it 13 wins
2016, it was 27 11 wins and a draw
2015 it was 28 12 wins
2014 it was 28, and (PD played it's part) 12 wins
2013 it was 28 12 wins
2012 it was 28 12 wins

All those years had 24 rounds and two byes

Why would we need 32 points or even 30 to make the eight this year when there is 2 less points on offer to every team?

If history is any guide, we'll need 12 - 13 wins, (26 - 28 points.)

But what we really need is a draw, which pretty much guarantees our pathetic points differential won't mean jack.
