I said we'd both get robbed as a joke but we both had a half each to get absolutely nailed by the refs. Very strange that 1 team can be so good and the other so bad with discipline and have it switch to exactly the opposite in the second half

Just something to consider is you look exactly like us a few years ago. Even our back 3(Mansour) were carrying our forwards in 2017/17.

You currently have the fringe first graders that'll be cheap and help you stabilise for you to develop a genuine first grade team in two or 3 years. Maybe quicker depending on what juniors you have come up and if you can attract good players.

Hope you get some more wins this year and get top 8.

My slightly left field team for next week

1 lolohea
2 Thompson
3 masters
4 Fonua
5 Mwz
6 gamble
7 brooks
8 packer
9 Liddle
10 twal
11 Lawrence
12 mck
13 Taylor

14 matalino
15 Aloai ( prop rotation)
16 eisenhuth
17 Reynolds

Reynolds can cover 9 and 6 if gamble fails
Mck and Lawrence offer good speed at backrow
Huth and Taylor to rotate at lock and can cover backrow

I don’t like tui at fullback but I think nofo is out of form

We really are short a quality edge forward like a kikau of Fisher- Harris

The problem is Liddle doesn't seem up to anywhere near 80 minutes. I wish this wasn't the case and it's a massive issue for us. Do you just play Liddle and pray he gets the job done despite the evidence so far being that he isn't up to it.

I can understand ET at dummy half because his defence is good but we had really crap go forward and a big part of that is ET at dummy half.

We need more strike power but I think our biggest issue is the dummy half position.
What the problem with Taylor at dummy hall is he doesn’t pass the ball from the ground like most good dummy halves, he stands up the passes, he always has done this

I still have hopes Aloiai can be our Kikau type impact player provided he fixes his errors in his game

Agree on your team also, but I have question marks over Chee Kam. Maybe a swap for Huth

Quite a good side although Lolohea doesn’t deserve an nrl spot.Dont b surprised if Valentine Holmes is our fullback soon.

I luv the bench although I’d swap Reynolds & Gamble around.

My team for next week:

1. Thompson
2. Naiqama
3. Marsters
4. Fonua
5. Nofoaluma
6. Reynolds
7. Brooks

13. Taylor
12. Aloiai
11. Lawrence
10. Twal
9. McIlwrick
8. Packer

14. Liddle
15. Matulino
16. Chee-Kam
17. Eisenhuth

I'd like to put Gamble in at six, and start Reynolds at nine, but I'd prefer two proper nines as it is clear that Liddle is not up to 80.

MWZ goes for mine. I think he's a capable winger but he doesn't bust tackles on returns and runs sideways too much.

MCK gets one last shot, he bottles it next week he's gone as well for mine.

Anyone catch the Penrith v Dragons game

Holy smokes. They embarrassed saints

Maybe our loss to these guys isn’t as bad as it seems

Penrith were awesome tonite. They didn’t play anywhere near as good against us.Albeit we did scramble well in defence last wk.However we need to drastically improve both our attack & kicking game to have any chance of making the 8.

They played pretty similar against us last week tbh

Only difference is their execution was a lot better tonight. Imo if their execution was on last week they could have easily racked up another 2-3 tries. Scoreline flattered us really
