Oh well it is what it is to quote the mental midget that used to masquerade as our captain. It's Cleary's nuts on the block if it all goes to shit so he will live and die by his decision. If it works out, even if you don't like Farah, it's still putting us in a better position than recent years.
Exactly

Which players did Farah attract even in his hay day to the club? Most of our successful signings were blokes looking for opportunity after long term injury. Even the prize signing of Gareth Ellis was influenced by Mark O’Neil.

Mick Potter’s career was destroyed inside of 10 weeks, don’t forget...
Im not saying Farah is going to directly influence players to come .. but i am saying if his inclusion helps stop the dramatic decline of the side and our overall position on the ladder so we arent getting beat by 48 f**king points every week .. THEN the club may have a better chance of atttacting players.

"It's important to note that over the last two years this club has undergone significant change and we are building towards something special here.
"We're incredibly proud of the position that the club is in now and look forward to welcoming back a Life Member in Robbie,"
in other words - we got rid of the loser gimp Jason Failure, so welcome home Robbie.

We bring the biggest cause of trouble over the last ten years back to the club and welcome him with open arms.
Well you haven't so you can sit back and criticise for the rest of the year as you promised though, you won't be supporting them so criticise all you want.

It is a public forum and we use names, titles and phrases to cover our identity but mate, get over it. But before you go because you must be in the know, can you give us all the complete run down on how he caused so much trouble over the last 10 years.

Was RF responsible for the sacking of Sheens?
Was he responsible for the sacking of Potter? - you know sometimes, reserve grade or assistant coaches don't always make it in 1st grade.
Was responsible for the sacking of Taylor? He wasn't even at the club when the Board showed Taylor out the door. Like Potter no one has picked Taylor up as a 1st grade coach.

Then there were problems in the back office, think Grant Mayer, was RF his office assistant?

Always remember that journalists can always find an angle to make any news look like a crisis.

Lmao... We've only been flogged this year Macca... Your point is otherwise solid without that hyperbole.

Yeah I am over the Potter idolatry. If he was so hard done by and such a good coach why hasn't he even got any interviews for any head coaching jobs since us. Perhaps he was just as much a dud of a head coach as Taylor and Farah and subsequently the board realized this.

The team was well in the hunt for a finals berth in his second year at the club. Let’s look at the facts:

* Potter recommends Farah only be signed for 2 years, not 4

* Board ignores this requests and signs him for 4 years

* Farah moans about Potter to Tallis who used his position in the media to railroad Potter which in turn actually screwed us as we crashed out the back door and created disharmony

to Tallis who used his position in the media to railroad Potter

As I said above,
Always remember that journalists can always find an angle to make any news look like a crisis.
In this case Tallis, the wannabe sports commentator makes a name for himself (in his post football career) by railroading 2 people.

Tallis used his position in the media to railroad Farah - Farah was naive saying anything to Tallis, not smart at all.

What has happened in the past is water under the bridge, we needed a no9 and Farah fits the bill for the rest of the season. Its basically pretty simple call. He will not magically get us into the eight, but we may end up finishing the season in a solid position just out of the eight.

Of course there is the other thing where Liddle gets a great mentor for ab few months

Yep....zakly....so long as HE keeps the soap opera in the past as well then he's the right option....if he wants to recycle that water under the bridge on the talk shows and turn this club into home and away again then he can go you know what ....Hopefully and expect not.....onto the Titans.....which if i'm not mistaken will be two nrl games in a row against them for both Mbye and Farah....hope they both have a few itches from their last games that they need to scratch

8 Broncos 8 0 6 1 -44 18
9 Raiders 6 0 8 1 36 14
10 Tigers 7 0 8 0 -35 14

Looking at the comp table, technically we are in front of the Raiders and only 2pts behind the Broncos, as they have both had there bye round and we haven't, so if the new team can get it together with a few wins, then we are a chance of making the 8. It aint over yet.

Sorry, but we aren't "technically" in front of the Raiders or 2 points behind the Broncos..

The Tigers have a bye, but they both have a game in hand...

The week the Tigers get the Bye, the Raiders play the Bulldogs and the Broncos play the Titans..

Most likely scenario is 2 points all round...

Say what you want about Tallis but it's cr@p to bag him for sticking up for a mate {Potter}
I'd rather have mates like Tallis , as opposed to Robbie who was caught out as a lying bitch with his bagging of Potter {as deserved as it was }

He stuck up for him, sure, but by gee he put him in bad position at the time and 10 weeks later he was out of a job.

Tallis was a turd. Let's be honest how many here have never stated that their boss is a moron.

I think the whole Robbie/Potter drama was caused because of Tallis. Potter might have survived if Tallis had shut his peep hole.
