My 2 cents.....

I have been fat my whole life, i like a lot of feminine things and most of my friends are female.

I have been called fat and a twig all my life.

Funnily none of that bothers me, the fat part especially cause i am fat and it is ridiculously hard to argue against.

The homo stuff i know isn’t true so that is someone else’s problem not mine. If i like feminine things why does it affect anyone else?

My point is that people are too sensitive these days. Words from irrelevant people don’t mean anything.......it is the people closest to us that would matter and if those words come from them in a meaningful way, then there is a problem.

Comments on an Internet forum are just that and are just those people looking for a reaction........which we are ALL guilty of at times.

Sure but never know what point someones as. Might be the straw that breaks the camels back.

My 2 cents worth.
We are all Parra fans. We come here for entertainment and knowledge. We dont come here to witness attitudes and comment that at times goes beyond reasonableness. Obviously its all subjective and dependant upon ones individual tolerance. By and large this is a great group and im generally very entertained. There are very few who press my buttons and my philosophy to that is that life is too short and we have a choice to involve ones self or not. I choose not. The solution is simple. Use it. Not difficult at all. I choose fun.

As for the last comment, I pretty much take nothing here seriously but there are a select few things that arc me up. I don't feel the need to expand on personal shit more than necessary but suffice to say this is one of them and tbh I've said a hell of a lot worse over it.

Sure but if you are too fragile to deal with it then being on the internet and the anonymity it brings is probably not the place to be.

My inner thoughts are way worse than anyone could ever dish up in person or the internet.

If some random person on a forum pushes you to breaking point then you were always going to break because unfortunately and as sad as it is, life just isn’t for you. That’s not to be insensitive as i get the seriousness but some people just can’t be saved.

Kurt Cobain is the perfect example, the life he probably always wanted ended up being the death of him. Within the span of 3 years he went from nothing, to everything and the epitome of what all musicians want and then he blows his brains out........he just wasn’t made to live through an entire life.

However, IMO it also wouldn’t hurt every once and a while to take a step back and consider the potential impact of some of the things we say, no matter how trivial we think they are (myself included).

From my point of view i don’t talk to people like i have seen on here, on occasion i have looked for a reaction but not in a personal way or low shots etc.

I don’t condone that type of behaviour but going the other way i really couldn’t give a toss if it is directed at me. Does it take all my strength not to reply and be a low life shit? f**k yes but it really isn’t worth it cause in the scheme of things it doesn’t mean anything.......people i don’t know enough about telling me my football IQ is terrible or i must be dumb as f**k not to hate BA or something can’t hurt me because it is just opinion.

People i know attacking something i consider a weakness, well that might be a different story.......although these days there are very few people who i even care enough about to worry about anything they might say.......
