Is Bevan French the most over rated player ever?

He's a fullback, but the geniuses in charge at Spoonamatta keep putting him on the wing.

He's not a world-beater, but he's a handy player, imo.

The answer is .... definitely.

Offers very little unless there's a chase for ball heading into in goal or open space.

The joke is on Rugby League circa 2018. This guy is great footballer he just isn't big enough to mix it with these meat heads gym junky skill less bone heads. Frankly he needed to chose another sport where an average size man has a chance. That is the way our game is going. Unrelatable.

The whole parramatta team has over rated hacks in it, Gutherson, Norman, Moses, French, 4 of there highest paid players, I don't rate 1 of them. Over hyped as they were the over achievers of 2017, every year theres a over achiever, 2015 it was the Dogs, 2016 it was the Raiders, 2017 it was Parramatta and 2018 it is the Warriors, Warriors won't make the 8 next year, its easy to see who the over achiever is and usually they fail to make the 8 the following year.

Rubbish. Matt Dufty is smaller than French but has much more of a go.

French was great when he first came into first grade but he looks intimidated now, either at wing or fullback.

There are plenty of small guys still having a big impact at the top level. Rugby league does have a problem but the problem isn't that the little guys aren't big enough for NRL nowadays, it's that junior rep coaches and some bonehead fans think they aren't big enough. The same type of people who thought that Thurston and Slater were too small for NRL.

Imagine how many class players were turned away by idiot junior rep coaches because they were told they were too small and would never make it. And instead they picked brainless/heartless 110kg 14 year olds who at that age would just run through everyone but are rubbish once they get to first grade.
