Tbh the only real question I have is what time the hoardes of toofless meth swilling bludgers that make up The Burrow will start puring out of their home ground for the long trip back home. Half time? 50 mins in? Can't see them lasting the hour.

The Burrow have come under a bit if stick from other Souths supporters in recent times regarding their behaviour and in particular, the language they use in the vicinity of women and children.

The only reason any of their members won't see all of the game will be if they are escorted from the ground.

Souths by at least 20.

I'm actually tipping a slow start to the year for Souths so I reckon we may get rolled here. (As much as I hate to say it). Quite a few key players have had an interrupted off season for us and I think it'll take a hand full of games for them to get on the ball.

Sutton and Sandow's kicking games looked a bit scratchy in the CS, Roy, Dave Taylor and Ben Ross will take a few weeks to hit their straps and we don't see Mick Crocker for a while either.

In comparison, the Roosters have had a few injuries, but the likes of Pearce and Carney have been carving it up in the trials. Their young forward pack have also been going fairly well against some other big name packs and I expect them to be pumped for this.

Carney, Mini and the young Roosters centres will really test our defense out wide and I think at this early point in the season it won't be able to stand up.

I hope to God I'm wrong and Souths come roaring out of the blocks, but I reckon the Bunnies will be feeling their way around a little for a few weeks.

As much as it pains me to say this, I reckon it'll be the Roosters by 10.

Souths by 2-4. Strength of forward pack should get them home plus a token late Ryles penalty...

Roosters to announce themselves early on with a decisive victory over a quiet Souths outfit.

Look for a big game by Carney and every Roosters and Raiders fans needing new keyboards by Monday as they talk him up for Origin.

This is my match of the Round, first time in a while that both sides have so much potential heading into this clash.

Carney and his inexperience at fullback might tell the difference with high balls positioning etc.

Carney will be exposed, I just don't think it will be in this round. Neither Sutton or Sandow have the accurate high kicking game to trouble anyone
