Roosters will score at least 30 points. We may score 32, we may score 0 ...

How is this considered a heritage clash?
Anyway.... Rorters to beat Knights by 10...

T.

The NRL does it by who came into the comp around the same time i.e. Cronulla/penrith, Parra/Manly in the same year.

I agree though it is stupid. It should be done based on rivalries/recent history.

Why does everyone see fit to lay the boot in about a concept that usually generates some better crowds? People will complain about anything, seriously...

The concept is good, i am just suggesting some tweaking is all.

IMO a round based on rivalries where the matches could change year to year (most clubs have more than one rivalry) is a better way of doing heritage round than the same 8 matches in round 10 every year.

The teams can still embrace the concept of heritage round by wearing their heritage jerseys.

I think having the same clashes each year builds a good rivalry... maybe the Dogs Dragons clash is the best idea.

I know that Round 19 this year is earmarked as a "Rivalry Round" for what it's worth, one of the games being Easts v Canterbury @ SFS...

Oh ok fair enough, i did not know there was a rivalry round as well this year.

Yup.

That round in full for those interested in the concept they're pushing:

Round 19 : July 16 - 19
Penrith v Parramatta @ CUA Stadium
South Sydney v St George Illawarra @ ANZ Stadium
Canberra v Newcastle @ Canberra Stadium
Sydney v Canterbury Bankstown @ Sydney Football Stadium
Cronulla-Sutherland v Manly Warringah @ Toyota Stadium
Gold Coast v Brisbane Broncos @ Skilled Park
Warriors v Melbourne @ Mt Smart Stadium
Wests Tigers v North Queensland @ Leichhardt Oval

Mostly good combos although not sure about Canberra v Newie...

Oh ok well that makes sense then, I’m happy with that. Anything that garners bigger crowds can only be a good thing

I guess with the Canberra/knights thing there isn’t much else they could do with the teams

Roosters were terrible last night. Not sure which team will turn up here. I might have to go the Knights.
