Very reminiscent of their last clash. Dogs desperate for a win and probablt set for a crisis meeting. Tigers on a mini roll and Sheens slapping his own back in the media.

Dogs could quite easily belt the Tigers Friday night

Could gronk... probably won't. We don't seem to be able to put on 80 minutes of quality football. Although if we remove Green and put in Barba I'd probably rate our chances much higher...

One of the keys to this game will be our kicking game. Luke Patten absolutely carved us up earlier in the year and was everywhere, and if we can actually find space a bit more regularly, it will go a long way towards us winning the game. Had the Origin side been selected after that game, and given Hayne's poor start to the year, I would have absolutely been happy with Patten at the back, that's how good he was.

Another area for improvement will be our handling - both sides were ordinary in this regard but we only completed around half of our sets, and with all the extra defensive work we had to do in the first half as a result, we just ran out of gas at the end.

Still, the Dogs dominated possession and territory and only skipped clear in the last 7 minutes, so an improvement in those two areas should see the Tigers get the win. Mind you the Dogs have their backs against the wall again and in the rain, it will be tough.

Tigers by 10.

Apparently the dogs forwards have sent the word out to the tigers camp to expect fireworks.

I'm sure the prospect of god boy, Ryan, ennis and stagg throwing them has the pack running scared.

The Bulldogs lifted earlier in the season to beat the Tigers 24-4, but have shown very little else so far (outside of the 60-14 win over the Roosters). The Tigers will be c**k-a-hoop after two big wins over two very sorry opponents. I'm hoping Benji's boys win.
