I don't seem to recall many Cowboys wins down in Melbourne...though if the Origin players don't back up, Melbourne's young squad would have a short turnaround from playing tonight. The Cowboys have been average all year, but they could fancy their chances...maybe.

The Storm are starting to realise they have nothing to play for. Cameron Smith told the ref as much a few weeks ago. I think this is going to eat into them more and more toward the end of the season.

Cowboys will have gained a lot of confidence from the win against Canberra, and JT always fires up after Origin.

Not as clear cut as you might think.

Will be interesting to see what team cowboys actually field. players not named that could play: Shannon Gallant, Ben Harris and Dane Hogan.

Interesting game to see who backs up. If atleast half the Storm players back up then Storm will win they have great record against Cowboys. So gotta go Storm to win i was'nt impressed by Cowboys against the Raiders. Raiders were just woefull

Interesting sides fielded, both quite different to those named.

Storm:
Slater, Duffie, Neilsen, Inglis, O'Neill, Finch, Cronk, Norrie, Hinchcliffe, White, Blair, Manu, Proctor. Smith, Lowrie, Tolman, Lima.

So O'Neill in for MacDougall - good to see O'Neill getting another crack, Hinchcliffe starting for Smith - I'd assume Smith is getting a rest for the first bit of the game. Proctor starting for Lowrie - nice to see Kevvy starting, but don't understand this change..could be something to do with Hinchcliffe going to Lock when Smith comes on?

Cowboys:
Gallant, Graham, Harris, Tonga, Williams, Bowen, Thurston, Scott, Payne, Mason, Bolton, Rapira, L Ah Mau. Watts, Tamou, I Ah Mau, Hogan

So Gallant comes in for Bowen who moves to 5/8 - interesting to see ho it goes. Harris to centre in place of Willie Tupou. Mason to prop for Carl Webb. Rapira in place of Mason and Leeson Ah Mau starting for O'Donnell's suspension. And Isaak Ah Mau and Dane Hogan come in, with James Tam out.

I daresay the neighbours would have heard me after that sh*t.

Completions are our biggest problems, we can never just hit it up for 5 then put the boot into it
