Penrith to be a little too good here. Canterbury will put in more of a fight than Souths did, but Penrith to be a little too good as they steam towards a top-3 spot.

Stagg is getting a shoulder reco this week so won't be playing.

Therefore, Penrith by a country mile

Hopefully Tim Grant is back this week for the Panthers. Either way they should win comfortably.

If we can't win this then I'm back to thinking we will have no impact in the finals. Performance against bunnies on friday was great but we still had our weekly nap which they took advantage of and they weren't exactly a fully fit team. Also, I'll have to put up with my Bulldogs supporting housemate giving me sh*t.

First the NRL snubbed Noddy's 300th now they've blatantly rejected our bid for a Sunday arvo send-off for the General. Poor form.

Anywho hopefully the boys can pull through with a win here and a good send off for the General.

I'm hoping to see in this game that the way we played in the Souths game wasn't a fluke. If we get a scrappy 22-16 win where we score with a couple of kicks and an intercept while playing hitup, hitup, hitup, hitup, kick wont really satisfy me here.

To win this comp we need to be a genuine form team on the first week of the finals. Scraping by against teams already out of the comp in the last two weeks isn't enough for mine.

It has been a pathetic season from the Canterbury Dogs. They should fire up for Patten's last game, been a very good servant. Penrith should still win though. Penrith by 10.

With the Sharks beating the Titans it's added incentive for the Panthers. If they can take out their last two games (which they should) and the Titans can beat the Tigers next week Penrith would get second.

Mick Hodgson is reportedly out for Canterbury, as reported on 2GB Saturday. Brad Morrin in jersey 19 is his likely replacement.
