The Shire hosts the other 7:30pm Super Saturday clash, with Cronulla up against fellow fringe-eight combatants Newcastle. For the Sharks, Jayson Bukuya and Matthew Wright have been omitted at the expense of John Williams and Kade Snowden, who was a late inclusion in last night's derby loss to the Dragons at Kogarah. The Knights welcome back captain Kurt Gidley who will slot into fullback, following injury to regular fullback Wes Naiqama. Junior Sa'u has been named in the centres despite suffering a neck injury in the side's 32-10 loss to Manly on Sunday.

I find that very hard to believe.

With Harrison also injured I don't have a genuine stand out backup so will just keep Gallen and hope the lowest auto emergency player scores decent enough if he's out!

Giving the Knights one last chance; if Gallen's out that may not necessarily help our cause. We all remember what happened with the last team we played who were missing a key player ...

Cripple fight

Both teams have been hot and cold this year and have struggled for any type of consistancy.

Home ground advantage should get the Sharks home

Sharks by 12...Knights have a horrible record down there

Not sure of the exact stats, but off the top of my head its been WLWLWL for a while there.

2003 Knights
2005 Sharks
2006 Knights
2008 Sharks
2009 Knights
2010 Sharks

However the overall record is 7-12.

In that case we're due for a win tonight

2GB just confirmed Gallen is out. Costigan and Tolar likewise for the Knights. Tetevano and Karawana into the squad.
