well, well. I don't think anyone would've predicted this one about 5 weeks ago

Will be going for the Warriors, but i think Manly will just be too good. Manly by 13

Is their any bad blood between Manly and NZ fans? Might be a light build-up in this thread.

I think Manly will win comfortably in the end, but here's hoping the Warriors can win!

No bad blood from what I'm aware. Happy if we don't win, they do. Obviously I'd rather a win.

Cleary is an former player of Manly and we have a good link with New Zealand.

Gee I was impressed with the NZ forwards, if they play like that again they will be extremely hard to beat.

most people in nz consider manly their second team. they did a lot to help build up league here before the warriors.

going to be an interesting one.

There are only 2 sides of the Warriors who I reckon will turn up.

The side who defeated Melbourne

or

The side who lost to the Broncos

Anyone want to take a guess as to what tv ratings this GF will get (in both Australia and New Zealand)? I'd be happy if it got more than 2 million in Australia (given that both teams aren't high ratings on FTA here), and hopefully 500,000+ in NZ. The good news is that the All Blacks game is earlier in the day, and hence won't be clashing with the GF.

I believe Manly took one of their home games to Auckland in 1992 against Newcastle, which was the first ever first-grade rugby league match to be held outside of Australia/in New Zealand.

I like the Warriors. They're probably my second favourite side, and they knocked the cheaters out of the comp.

I wish them well, but not too well. I think I could stomach losing to them but we'll see how I feel at full time next week.

I near as did. I picked a Warriors vs Storm grand final months ago, and that was only made impossible by the way the draw of the finals fell.

To be honest I think Manly deserve it more but I would like to see the Warriors break their duck.
Next Sunday arvo will be very good.

The match will kick off at prime time in NZ, so should get bumper ratings.
