So is likely to be 1/7/9 for the storm?

I'd be guessing duffy/kostjayson/hinchcliffe

Still pretty handy players

Ricky has done us a huge favor by not picking Galloway or woods

Another great example of terrific scheduling by the NRL.

Even though Wests have been close to gifted this game...the Storm will push them all the way.

i expect another comprehensive victory from the tigers. letting in more than 1 try would be disappointing

Tigers 1 - 12 in a low scorer for me.

I think Melbourne will still compete with the Tigers and defend well, but we will definately miss a bit of creativity and our scoring oppurtunites will be limited.

Tigers a good chance to get a first win in Melbourne - provided Woods and Galloway maintain form and Humble provides solid service from dummy half. Blair will lift for this game surely!

Still plenty of potential in Widdop to steer the ship for the Storm if the Tigers don't play at their best!

Oh please. Suck it up princess. The Broncos have played alot of games without their stars. All teams with origin players will be affected.

Err...way to miss the point entirely.

I'm simply lamenting another example of a blockbuster contest being watered down by the lack of full strength sides.

Like the Broncos being rested and Storm stars tired after Origin I - this game could have been so much better with a full arsenal of stars.

But hey - you clearly walk around half-cocked so what's the point.

Better to have half of one than none at all and still crying about the 2006 GF

And I don't want to hear any Tigers fan complain about the draw til the end of the year.

It's obviously a great chance for us to get 2 points, however we also got the warriors who were missing no one and were grad finalists last year. So when the draw was released it was probably thought to be pretty even considering we have a bye before the next origin game.

Also this storm team belted the roosters by like 30 points last year.

Will Chambers out indefinately with a Blood clotting disorder:

Will Chambers ruled out of Storm clash

Melbourne Storm centre, Will Chambers, has been ruled out of this Friday night’s game against Wests Tigers at AAMI Park.

Will, 24, has spent the past 48 hours in hospital after being diagnosed with the rare blood clotting disorder ITP (Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia).

Will presented to the club’s doctor on Monday with symptoms and was sent to hospital to receive treatment and undergo further tests.

Specialist doctors have cleared Will of any other significant health concerns.

At this stage he will be sidelined from football indefinitely as he recovers.

Will is undergoing treatment via medication to resolve the clotting and will be monitored for a safe return to football. At this stage the time frame for recovery is unknown.

Melbourne Storm GM Football Operations, Frank Ponissi, said the health and wellbeing of Will was of paramount concern to the club.

“The club’s focus is for Will’s welfare and health and we will continue to offer support to Will and his family,” Ponissi said.

“It has been a difficult and very worrying past few days for Will, however he is very positive about his recovery.”

A hard match for the Storm just got a whole lot harder. Chambers was in great form, and was finding the line with ease of late.

That really hurts. Will Chambers has been awesome this year.

So much better than in his last stint with Melbourne.
