    We deserve to lose. Played the whole second half like we didn’t have a clue how to start again at 0-0 in our heads. We don’t come out breathing fire when we’re ahead, it’s predictable. The half time message needs to change.

    We are literally getting negative results from our last play options. It’s so frustrating. And our defence is under pressure, you can feel it. If we don’t score again I think we lose.

    I only partially agree. KPP and Frizell could be targets at least. Get in there and make a contest no matter what. Or force a mistake from pressure. All we do is give the opposition the ball, then usually concede a penalty from how quickly we lose the ruck.

    And of course they score from a contested kick. I mean it’s a tactic you can use in rugby league, just not if you play for the Newcastle Knights apparently.

    When you see that result for the Storm from making a high kick a contest, it’s so hard to understand why we don’t do the same. Those chip bombs must have a success rate of about 1 percent over 20 years for us. The execution is always so poor, would be better off just booting it for max air time.

    Cogger is trying way too hard. Not even running for any reason other than pre determined. It’s hard to watch us right now. There is basically no attacking structure or impetus whatsoever.

    Kicking game is abysmal. And our outside backs are getting absolutely manhandled trying to make metres. That was a big strength last season, but this season it appears a huge weakness.     This is beyond ordinary. If we don’t make them pay here we are done. I’m not sure what to make of this, it actually gives me grave concerns for the season. We have nothing in attack, and Ponga is being handled.

    This toothless attack is obviously going to cost us the game later on. What are they doing inside the 20? Clueless. And don’t get me started on the short kicking game, abysmal. Anything less than a 12 point lead at half time and we are cooked .
