    Manly's linespeed was great in the second half, limiting our go-forward. Our linespeed in defence is crap, thus allowing the opposition to make more metres than they should. Ever since Brian Smith left the club, our linespeed in defence has been average. Surely it's not that hard to coach...

    Non existant line speed from Parra, FMD it's not that hard an aspect to drill into the players is it? Pressure the opposition as much as you can with your defence. We didn't even kick to Hoppa at all even though he's one leg. Dumb asses!

    Ricky Stuart obviously didn't watch Hayne tear the Cowboys apart last night. Yes Parra lost but Hayne pretty much set up every Parra try. And Hayne's previous origin form doesn't count for anything? Dugan plays a few games this year on one leg, and hasn't done half of what Hayne's done...

    Brid Fittler also mentioned that he thinks Hayne should make the move to 5/8. With Lockyer retiring he thinks Hayne would be his successor.

    I nearly broke my remote today after watching that heartless performance. Shack was the only one who was willing to put on some big hits & runs. Where's the f*&kin agro!     Parra's pre-season pain

    This is good news. Our line speed in defence, our kick chase & general speed in attack has been very poor since Brian Smith left. I believe it was part fitness levels & part coaching changes. If we can improve those key areas with fitness & hopefully Kearney has some tactical & coaching skill...

    Just heard on NRL.com that five sharks players have a get-out-clause if Ricky leaves, one of these being Johnny Mannah. I think we should try and get him back, he looked promising in the couple of games he played.

    It's funny how Manly were whinging at the forward pass from Round 2, but they quickly forget that their first try should have been disallowed. Anyway , I think this game will show the Eels where they stand as Manly are the benchmark ATM. Heart says the Eels, head says Manly.

    It's sad too see us potentially lose two junioirs, it's times like this when you hate the salary cap system. But, Inu won't be that big of a loss IMO. Mateo will be, but we can't keep them all and I believe DA likes hard working forwards that's probably why he'll cut Mateo. Don't get me wrong...
