Johnathan Thurston charged with public drunkenness

Rumours? Get your head out of your arse. Go to a nightclub that footy players frequent and you'll see the lines to the drinks are the biggest. My credible source? Me. I've seen it with my own eyes.

    Old Dogs bid for unity

Sorry champ. Unless you can provide prove of daily criminal acts being committed by Bulldog players it's speculating and according to the moderators speculating is a no no. (to take to be true on the basis of insufficient evidence)

Johnathan Thurston charged with public drunkenness

You should check the form of some current players far north of the border when they are out on the town who apparently live by the motto "Ian Hard". They also have a weakness for extra large studded ear rings.. But hey- let's bag other areas.

Johnathan Thurston charged with public drunkenness

I forgot- it's the Police Officers fault..

Fans' hearts and minds turn to Mariners and Jets

The line under the BOLD one is better to explain why the sales are better. Soccer has it's place here but out of curiosity is "park" Soccer played in summer as well or still in Winter?

Johnathan Thurston charged with public drunkenness

Gallop puts his fingers in his ears singing "lalalalalalalalalala not listening lalalalalalalala" If it were nothing the cops wouldn't have charged him. As usual information is not forthcoming from clubs on their players "incidents" and the public get the watered down version.

The changing face of the NRL

Thanks for the info mate. With my life long mates being Cook Islanders, Maori and Australian Aboriginal we find a few choice words to slander each other with but we all know there's a difference in culture and history :D Cahill is without a doubt the best Australian player we have. I...

    Souths v Leeds

A league game would be a certainty for me if I resided in the US..

Rebecca Wilson says attempting to expand rugby league is a futile exercise

If HaC and Crowe convinced the TV mob to regularly air South Sydney games only.. and it caused all US fans to be wearing the Red and Green only, it would be fair to say the other NRL clubs would be mighty peeved they didn't jump on this bandwagon! Sounds promising.

Johnathan Thurston charged with public drunkenness

He has a flat-mate? With all his coin you'd expect him to have his own pad..

Fans' hearts and minds turn to Mariners and Jets

It puts it into perspective but Soccer has been played here a lot longer than that that's why they have been known as the "sleeping giant" for a long time. It'll improve no doubt.

The changing face of the NRL

Cahill looks the part as well.. there are a few but not many compared to the Rugby codes.

    Where will he go?

Would this be the reason for Lowe being turfed to free up funds to make Bennett full time? Would be a smart move.

SL 2009 should we be worried?

Sorry champ he has a life long red and green fever now :D This other lad sounds the ticket though.

SL 2009 should we be worried?

Top stuff. I'll be barracking for it. I lived in Perth in 2006 and 2007 (Northbridge) and thought it was madness they don't have a league team.

Rebecca Wilson says attempting to expand rugby league is a futile exercise

A reportedly guaranteed 900k per season no matter how many fans turn up is fantastic. 20km to a game is not far when you know your team is making serious bank out of it. I don't mind ANZ Stadium.

Rebecca Wilson says attempting to expand rugby league is a futile exercise

Come on gents. A bag of a reporter has smeared our great game with garbage and your all barking at each other.. stick to the thread. I speculate a League player has refused to give her a Wellington Boot or throw the leg over and she is still disturbed about it.. I mean the head is like a...

Fans' hearts and minds turn to Mariners and Jets

I don't want to insult Soccer or Basketball fans but once you have watched the English Premier League or the NBA, watching our local standards is a massive drop in standards. Any genuine talent is quickly rushed overseas to develop further and play there for the most part.

Fans' hearts and minds turn to Mariners and Jets

I would be shocked if Cricket weren't the summer champs hands down if you include revenue raised and World Wide TV audiences.

Fans' hearts and minds turn to Mariners and Jets

Didn't Rusty approached La Paglia last season and they were in discussion about building a stadium to share between Sydney FC and South Sydney? I suspect it won't be the last time we hear about it.
