    Also, I'm not sure people realize but USA Rugby was founded in the early 1970's and it took them almost 35 years to get where they are today with sponsors, TV, etc. So as stated above we have to continue to try to get support from the grassroots level.     We are looking at fixtures with Canada and Jamaica and possibly a few more. The board is still negotiating for potential matches. Announcements should be forth coming.

    Luke and Matt are teaming with the White Plains Union Club for support and to build their player base. Should be a strong North East conference this summer.

    Leeds Rhinos vs. USA Hawks 2016

    There was only one member of the Slayers available and due to the large number of guys trying for the few slots, he was left out this time. Brian McDermott is the Hawks head coach (except of course for the Jan match) and barring any issues, I suspect he will be with us through the WC.

    Casey Clark is always a game changer when he is on the field. I'd also keep an eye on Ryan Burroughs, Jon Purnell, and Abe Cohen. All three had great matches against Canada in the Colonial Cup.

    Canada had issues with getting the field in Toronto so we agreed to play both matches in the US.

    The USARL are affiliate members currently seeking full member status. The USARL is also recognized as the NGB for rugby league in the USA.

    Yes, Wilmington is closer to home for Wiggins. He and I talked a lot after the Pioneers match. Seems like the Black Foxes have good funding and support in their area. Looking forward to seeing them in action.
